Each <strong>intervention<\/strong> modifies the whole and necessitates reinventing what seemed established. The painting then begins an <strong>autonomous<\/strong> existence. relationship<\/strong>. One gesture calls for the next; the material responds; the painting progressively transforms the intentions of the one who paints it. <\/p><p>Gestural painting holds a central place in this practice today. <strong>Color<\/strong> is projected, pulled, erased, superimposed, reworked. Each <strong>intervention<\/strong> modifies the whole and necessitates reinventing what seemed established. Chance is not sought; it is welcomed when it opens up a new possibility.   <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d7f5887 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d7f5887\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>From this <strong>confrontation<\/strong> emerge works where <strong>spontaneity<\/strong> never excludes rigor. Some seem to arise in a <strong>single impulse<\/strong>; others are built slowly, through successive reworkings and silences. All retain the memory of their creation.  <\/p><p>A <strong>work<\/strong> does not end with the last brushstroke. When it leaves the studio, it encounters other perspectives and interpretations. The painting then begins an <strong>autonomous<\/strong> existence.
